Message from the Chairperson

Dear Esteemed Colleagues and Participants,

It is with great pride and excitement that the Organizing Committee welcomes you to the 07^th Research Symposium and 2^nd International Conference of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, University of Ruhuna, Galle, Sri Lanka, scheduled to be held on July 04^th and 5^th, 2024. This significant scientific event will be conducted under the theme of “Developing a future multidisciplinary workforce in rapidly changing healthcare” Our conference aims to inspire both national and international health professionals and undergraduates to present and exchange their cutting-edge research experiences with peers and stakeholders. Through this platform, we seek to promote a multidisciplinary research approach for sustainable development in population health. This conference will also facilitate health researchers in sharing their knowledge and skills in innovations and creations, ultimately enhancing healthcare services and the quality of life for people.

For the second time, we are organizing an international conference to attract the global research community. We believe that this expansion will significantly elevate the quality of this annual scientific event. Researchers and stakeholders in the scientific community will have the opportunity to present and share their findings within this platform.
