Biography

Mrs. Eranga Harshani Silva currently works as a lecturer attached to Dept. of Medical Laboratory Science, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, University of Ruhuna. She graduated from B.Sc. MLS degree programme, Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura with a second class upper division in 2012. Currently she is reading her PhD on ‘ Vasculopathy, systemic inflammation, body composition and cardiometabolic risk among patients with chronic kidney disease’ attached to Dept. of Biochemistry, Faculty of Medicine, University of Ruhuna. Her main research interests are on cardiovascular disease and chronic kidney disease.
