Biography

Dr. Tharanga Ramanayake graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science, University of Peradeniya in 2013, and then she received a scholarship to follow a PhD in the major of advanced pathobiology from the Osaka Prefecture university, Osaka, Japan. During her doctorate (2015-2020), she was working on cancer immunotherapy using peptide therapeutics. Further, she worked as a post-doctoral researcher in the same stream in Osaka prefecture university.
