Biography

I am a Lecturer in Nursing attached to the department of Nursing, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, University of Ruhuna since 2013. I graduated with a BSc Nursing honours degree in 2010 from University of Sri Jayewardenepura. I obtained the MPhil in Medical Education and Health Sciences from University of Sri Jayewardenepura in 2019.

  • The paper titled “Nutritional state and neurocognitive performance of early female adolescents in Galle Municipal area‟‟ - awarded the best paper in neuroscience at the 5th Biennial Conference of South Asian Association of Physiologist (SAAP-V) in conjunction with 2nd Annual Conference of Physiological Society Of Nepal (PSN), Nepal, 2016.
