Biography

I earned my Bachelor of Pharmacy (First Class) degree in 2015 from the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, University of Peradeniya, and completed my PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology in 2023 from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. My research focuses on behavioural pharmacology, specifically using animal models to study pain-like behaviours in rodents and evaluating analgesic agents from bioactive compounds, chemically modified compounds, and nano formulations. I am currently exploring the role of neuroinflammation in pain and the efficacy of nanodrugs in treating both acute and chronic pain.
