Events
"Ruhunu Poson Sanda" Poson Bhakthi Gee and Poson
Lantern Competition - 2022
12th batch of Nursing, 13th batch of nursing and
12th batch of Medical Laboratory Science
undergraduates won the first, second and third
places in the Poson lantern competition,
respectively.

Event was organized by the students and the
student counsellors of the Faculty of Allied
Health Sciences with the guidance of the Deputy
Senior Student Counsellor, Dr. Bimba
Poson lantern competition and the Poson Wickramarachchi and Prof. Imendra Kotapola,
Bhakthi Gee event of the students and staff of Dean, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences,
the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, University of Ruhuna.
University of Ruhuna was held on 13th June
2022, at 3 pm onwards at the Dean’s office
premises, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences,
Godakanda. The purpose of the programme
was to improve the mental and physical fitness
of the undergraduates and to improve the unity
among students.

Snr. Prof. Sujeewa Amarasena, Vice
Chancellor, University of Ruhuna participated
as the chief guest of the event. All the batches
of Nursing, Medical Laboratory Sciences and
Pharmacy undergraduates participated for the
event. There were about 12 Poson Bhakthi gee
and both students and staff participated in
singing.
