The mission of the counselling service is to provide services and programmes, which promote the personal development and psychological well-being of students, and to encourage a university atmosphere conducive to growth and which maximizes students’ educational attainments. The students have the opportunity to discuss their various mental, economic, social matters, or any other matters which they face during their university education.
Counsellors, who are senior academics, offer their assistance, advice and guidance to those students in need. Each faculty has its own group of student counselors. In addition, students also have the opportunity to discuss their problems with other academics.
