A pirith Chanting Ceremony and a Dana pinkama were held on the 07th and 08th of July, 2020 at the Library of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, University of Ruhuna, Mahamodara with the participation of reverend monks from Sri Buddasinghe Wijayarama Viharaya, Kovilagodella, Galle.
The event was organized by the staff members under the guidance of the Vice chancellor and the Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University of Ruhuna and the Dean of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences. The Deputy Vice chancellor Prof. E.P.S. Chandana, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Imendra Kotapola, Acting Librarian Mr. Nimal Hettiarchchi, Head of the Departments and staff members graced the event.
