The 1st workshop of this project was successfully held in Water’s Edge Hotel, Kotte which was hosted by University of Colombo during 7th – 11th February 2022. The Inauguration was held with the participation of administrative staff including Vice-Chancellor of the University of Colombo, delegates from partner countries. The five-day workshop, the managers of each University gave the introduction on their universities, identified the administrative perspectives, foreign team identified the aspects of Sri Lanka Qualification Framework, identified the outline of course structures and planned for next workshops and activities.
Initial discussions to establish either a postgraduate certificate or postgraduate diploma of NDD and Masters of NDD by coursework in each Sri Lankan partner University were discussed and course module preparation was initiated.
The next workshop will be held in Kristianstad University, Sweden during 9th to 12th May 2022.
