Department of Nursing, University of Ruhuna, and Japan hospitality learning center association signed the Memorandum Of Agreement (MOA) on 12th of October 2022 at Wellamadama, Matara, Sri Lanka.
The primary purpose of the MOA is to introduce an internship for the B. Sc Nursing undergraduate in order to develop a skillful and competent healthcare worker who can play an imperative role in the national and international markets including Japan in the future.
It was held as a hybrid event. The Sri Lanka team including the Vise Chancellor, Deputy Vise Chancellor, Director, Center for International Affairs (CINTA), Dean, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Head of the department, Department of Nursing, Japan internship program coordinator, and a few administrative staff members participated physically. Mr. Kazutaka Nakao-CEO. Ms. Marious Ramos- Director and Ms. Florance Delicano of the Japan hospitality learning center association participated in the event via Zoom.
