The 3 rd International Research Symposium of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, University of Ruhuna iRuFARS 2025 was successfully conducted on 6 th and 7 th of August 2025, under the theme ‘Combatting Healthcare Challenges through Research and Innovation’ at the new Faculty premises, Walahanduwa, Galle. Launching of the inaugural issue of the Faculty research journal, ‘The Sri Lankan Journal of Allied Health Sciences” was a highlight of the event and the
conference was followed by an educational pre-congress workshop conducted by a team of local and international experts. The symposium provided a solid platform for researchers to disseminate their findings while exposing students to a worldwide realm of research and innovation.
